Justin Long Reduces Price Again; Hollywood Hills Home Now Listed For $1,649,000

Despite its Mediterranean architecture and luxurious amenities, actor and one-time Drew Barrymore beau Justin Long has yet to find a buyer for his Hollywood Hills home. After another price reduction, the home is listed on Los Angeles real estate market for $1.649 million.

Known for his comedic roles in "Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story" and "The Breakup" with Jennifer Aniston, Long is also often recognized for his role in Apple's "Get a Mac" ad campaign. Property records show that Long purchased his home in 2008 for $1,999,000. He first listed the home in December 2010 for the same amount he purchased it for - $1,999,000 - then dropped the price to $1,899,000. The property was de-listed in December 2010, then re-listed with a new asking price of $1,799,000. The current asking price is another $150,000 less. Dropping the price on a home is not an uncommon experience for sellers, even celebrity sellers. According to the Zillow Home Value Index, Los Angeles home values in the high-end market have dropped 17 percent between January 2011 and January 2008.

The 3,388-sq ft home was built in 1990 and according to The Real Estalker, was also once home to L.A. Law star Blair Underwood from the mid-1990s until 2003. The 3-bedroom, 4-bath home is described as a quiet Spanish-Andalusian-style home on a cul-de-sac in the Oaks neighborhood of L.A. The gated home sits on a lush, landscaped third of an acre and has a courtyard entrance into an elegant foyer. The two-story living room includes a Spanish-style tiled fireplace. Each of the three bedrooms includes an private en-suite bath and powder room.
